Wildflowers And Weeds
No description available
From a diversity of experiences in change, comfort, and risk, I place myself socially and domestically as an immigrant and a venturer who finds consolation in the process of making work. Through ideas drawn from fantasies, I create imagined characters and objects as an obsessive documentary of my experience and thoughts. My ideas and the choice of materials that I work with come from the notion of instinct and abstract symbolism that evolve around the concept of a second language. This installation is a continuous effort, and the objects that involve are made to be portable. Together, they describe a sight, a sound, a digestion, and a life that is built by imagination and placed in reality.
