Alexandre David lives and works in Montreal. He mainly works in the field of sculpture, and his projects often relate to architecture. His work has been shown in various museums and galleries in Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and France. He has exhibited his work in solo exhibitions at Optica (Montreal) and Dare-Dare (Montreal) in 2007, at Aceartinc. (Winnipeg) and grunt gallery (Vancouver) in 2009, YYZ (Toronto), Espace Tilt (Lausanne, Switzerland) and the Parisian Laundry (Montreal) in 2011. He was also part of the 2011 Quebec Triennale at the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art.
