Artists Reona BrassReona Brass is an artist, educator and member of Peepeekisis Cree Nation inSaskatchewan. Educated at the Saskatchewan Indian Federated College, the Ontario College of Art & Design and the University of Saskatchewan, Brass has produced installation and performance works across Canada, the US and South America since 1993. Her work has been shown in numerous collaborations and group exhibitions including La caída: Cuerpo poètico/Cuerpo político, National Gallery of Bogotá, Columbia (2004); Ka Kiskih: tamowiwin, AKA Gallery in Saskatoon (2005); the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics at NYU in NYC (2003); Belo Horizonte, Brazil (2005); and recently at Truck Gallery’s MST5 Festival in Calgary, Alberta (2010). Brass also works as a teacher for Ranch Ehrlo Society in Regina, Saskatchewan.
