The majority of the images I create are the visual purging responses of a long period of consideration. Female experiences are the focus of my artwork. They are usually derived from personnal experiences but are not limited to this. My work reflects the relatively silent social, political, and cultural wars that have not only touched me personallly but resonate in the world around me. I am cognizant of the significance of both acknowledging this war and of representing potential; promoting females as what they are, have been and can be without relying on naive notions.
