Speaking Women
Zoe draws upon her interest in accessibility and viewer involvement in her latest body of work, "Speaking Women." The work is an intimate look into private situations of individual women in the form of a collaborative portrait. Each woman is an active participant in the piece. This exhibition was held as part of the Mayworks Festival.
Zoe Lambert's work is about peoples lives. Zoe is an object gatherer, working in the B.C tradition of assemblage and collage. She uses everyday momentos, quotes and appropriated photographs to reflect and preserve the viewers own personal and emotional memories.
