Little is a Hornby Island poet and self taught artist. Using media which includes fly screens and black plastic he refers to himself as a "post industrial primitive". His works using fly screens to create "third world holograms" come from long discussions with pioneer holographer Jerry Pethick concerning minimal information for absolute resolution.

Rooted in her practice as a printmaker, Pétrin creates immersive, highly graphic environments, often producing hundreds of individual prints for a single installation. For her exhibition at grunt gallery, the artist will be working to create a unique installation that acknowledges the architecture of the gallery space.

This exhibition is comprised of a series of hand-written letters by the artist's older brother, who is afflicted with schizophrenia, and his drawings of spaceships. The works are affixed to the walls in a manner meant to be immersive to the viewer.
